Must...

Must start studying properly, making notes for geog, gah...

Hmm, 47th post. Somehow I'll have to steer it so the 50th is on my mother's 50th birthday (8th may). Right in the middle of exams. :p

CFS: Float on-Modest Mouse

Hmm, today was a typical sian wednesday (Why oh why do they purposely make wednesdays sian...) Lesson after boring lesson after boring lesson. Last night I slept super early (11.15) and yet I'm so tired today together with the most boring lessons = lose.

IOP's are starting to get worse and worse, some people try but 40% have teh same old powerpoint+poem. Of course, the occasional diary entries (all copy me...) pop up. Hmm and Bose continues to act pro in the field of travelling. Paul just mentioned tucked STanhope into bed a few times for evidence and she kept babbling on about how it's normal for fathers to tuck their children into bed and that we shouldn't be so amused and in russia they have face scans so that ugly people are not allowed to enter certain pubs... And of course "I hope one day you will be liek me and travel all over the world."

Other memorable quotes:
"You see this picture? The people may be smiling BUT my friends, I assure you, they are NOT smiling. They are smilign in fear." Eric Bea

Rohan Shah: Eric, you mentioned many times the horror of war (his topic was the horror of war) but what exactly are these horrors and what are so horrific about them?
Eric: *changes to a past slide* CAN'T YOU SEE THEIR FACES? THEYARE SO SCARED! MY FRIEND, CAN YOU NOT SEE THE HORROR? THIS IS THE HORROR!
Rohan Shah: Eric, you still haven't answered my question.
Eric: THE FEAR IN THEIR FACES! CAN YOU NOT SEE MY FRIEND? CAN YOU NOT SEE?

Its funny how he took ordinary pictures and just blasted teh same sentence out for all of them. If you're wondering, his presentation was a bunch of pictures in an "album", and thats it.

One lesson I wished I had today was PoD! Everyday is boring without PoD! Not when Ms. Jac Mary Ee is your teacher! When we were looking at a nike thing someone made and "analyzing" it, she was her normal way and started spoonfeeding us her opinions. Her opinions?

"Just do it you know, no time to think. No. Just buy."
"Come on, what are you thinking for? Just do it lah! Just buy!"
"You see, nike is just trying to brainwash customers to anyhow buy."
"The tick represents success! So if you buy their items, you get the tick! You get success!"
"Just buy lah, just buy lah, then you get the tick! Success!"
Hmm it may not very funny but anyone who sees it, but if you were really at that lesson you'll never forget it. Also, on page 80something of teh PoD book theres a question about what meaning of game fits teh Olympic Games, soccer game and mind games. The answer beign competition. But no! Its more complicating that that!

"You see, for the olympics right, it is about olympic values."Everything seems normal.
"So, when they say olympic games, it is olympic values!" Ok...
"The games means values in this case!" What?
Madam, wouldn't competition also work?
"No, the olympics is not a competition, it is a gathering! Don't tell me you learnt nothing from the GEP Camp?"
Madam, but what about all the sports events?
"Those are only events, not competitions"
But there are prizes and rankings
"Only events."
Madam, the world cup is a competition right?
"Yes, that is why the olympics have no soccer."
Madam, they do.
"Oh really? Anyway it means values. Moving on..."

Moving on meant in soccer game, game = rules. Brilliant.

Hmm... Best get to zuo ye.

Cast away, all your fun its wednesday
Such a gloomy day
To say
I hate
Oh great.
I need to study.

I phail at trying to begin the start of revision.

Me:
-has not started studying properly
-did not pay attention in certain classes
-is screwed
-will probably get 34/35
-needs motivation
-is tired
-is sian
-is gah

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I still haven't started revision. Well, today looks like a bright day to start, since theresz no homework to be done by tomorrow...

Cast away
All your fun, it's Wednesday
Gotta move along
Reading, Mugging, come on

With some songs
Stacks of notes, they can't take long
Just join the club
Come on, let's slug, let's mug

Let's go, it's a gloomy day
Dull - that's the way of the day
Come back, come back
Come on, let's mug

Let's go, grab a mock test script.
Revise with us and help us through
Come back, come back
Come back, let's Mu-ug!

Come back, come back
Come back, let's mug!

Terrible ain't it? Hmm, most memorable thing of today would have to be Dr Ong's ownage announcement. *Crackling of PA system starting* "Hello." what? "*Drong continues talking as usual about bollyvood dance till he gets cut off*" *Our beloved Ms Lee Chia Hui is disturbed* 5 minutes later... *Crackling* "Hello" ... After he finishes talking, "Bye bye." Hmm, pity the fool who missed it. Must be some blue ocean strategy.

Hmmm, ah well, Chem or Physics or Chinese. Great, chinese. Ah well, off to cheenaland! Come on,, lets mug! (or die trying)

There was a guy who tried to mug
He went on his bed so snug
He turned on the air con (i wish)
Thinking cap he tried to don
But ended sleeping like a slug
(Wonder how slugs sleep)

An Actual Post!

Well, I haven't had a proper post in soooooooo long...

Exams coming, I'm starting to get myself to understand more things now,got myself to read through chem notes yesterday! Hmm finally know who that stinking arhennius is. Or however you spell his name. Sigh, the teachers that are most sian are those who are nice people, super poor thing, yet can't teach properly. Hmph. Meanwhile there are other teachers who like acting pro in front of other teachers and...

Hmm, after Sam got caught for some ******, I was reading through the school's disciplinary offences!Among the major offences are Indiscriminate Blogging and stuff like "flagrant displays of inappropriate affection whilst in school or in the public". Aka No Gaying Around. Hmm.

Oh and today I ended up spending hours watching videos from college humor. They're the people who made the minesweeper movie trailer! Among others...

Well, basically, I'm just trying to ramble on to avoid the fact that I'm totally unprepared for exams. I especially fail at chem and physics right now, which I'm supposed to like most. Bleh. Meanwhile I don't even know how to answer humans questions, and geog has so much to study. Gah.

And, if by the way, you're wondering why I'm writing so long, its so that you! Yes you! Can waste time reading this post! SO that you! Yes you! Can take time off your mugging to waste more time! If everyone does worse, theres moderation! No, its too late! No matter how many videos I put here you're inclined to watch them! And, if you happen to read this for randomness on facebook because this blog is now connected to facebook, nothing will make sense cos there will be no videos on facebook!

Hmm, my aunty's brthday just past, I went for my nephew's McDonalds birthday party today, my father's birthday is 5th, my mum's the 8th, nat's birthday coming up, other people's birthday coming up, and I'm still looking for a present for my mother. (50th birthday)Hmm. Somethign nice and nice.

Hmm wanted to put in the song that went And the World Becomes a Better Place, but maybe I just imagined its existence in my head D: Ah well, cheerful songs are best for cheering oneself up, I must say.

For the past few months I've been so emotionless, not happy not sad, so detached... Hmm, wish I could be as happy and carefree as that choir...

Mugging is one thing
Slacking another
But the joy slacking brings
Can't compare to the other.

Hope to change more lyrics for journey's end, defying orders is going on mighty fine...

Its that time of the year again...

And would you realise, its only 15 days more. 2 weeks, and syllabuses haven't been finished revising hasn't been started (for me) and I still have no idea what is going on during chem. Gah.

Meanwhile, CCAs are over for me! Going home at 2.40 still ends up in me slacking till dinner though, which makes almost no difference! Humph. Every year is the same, fresh start lasts for the first term, which is over faster than... you can say Johnson Robinson. Did you try? Cos too late, its over already!

Bleh, gotta do IHS and clear backlog of chem. And then study for chinese, and just about everything else too. Humph. 36 points, I have a feeling I'll get 34/35.

That time of year
All of us hold dear
Time to get our gear
And mug. (no, not of beer.)

Easter!

This post is a stub. You can help to expand it by doing nothing at all.

Well, I missed out the CFS of the last post, so I'm here to fill it in!

Happy easter!

Holy Week!

Hmm,
CFS: Hmm hard one. Get back to it later.
(never)

So, wednesday seemed to be D-Day, what with wednesday week A being one of the worst days and IOP being on wednesday and many other homeworks too. Went through okay. (More and more Ama seems a good president.)

Oh, quote of the week:

"I like Katy Perry. Her songs are just so catchy and danceable" Ama, Choir President

Anyway, after SYF on thursday I have to choose finally whether to quit or not. (and if practices are on tuesday and they dun let me pon tuesday then I will probably quit)(i did not say that)(especially if you're brandon chia)Hmm, SYF is teh problem: note to self, always quit before they let you elarn a single SYF song.

Oh oh oh anyway wednesday was really sian and stuffz, but according to others my IOP went quite okay, and okay is considered a good in my eyes :). Also my plan worked: If you're from another class you might want to use it. So I wrote diary entries for each night, and since my topic was the Effects of War on Hibbert, and I happened to have 3 main points (Afraid, Desperate to leave and treasured life before teh war), I wrote each diary entry to the events of each day, then put in some evidence for each point (day 1 - point 1, day 2 - point 2 etc.). That way teh diary entries link to your points in a vague way, while you read most stuff from cue cards. Your classmates are too busy reading the diary entry, and maybe Bose too, distractign them from your mistakes and no one asked me any questions! (except Bose, who has to no matter what.)(jolly easy questions too.) So yay!

Though my mood was sian, thigns were going well, so I was forced to try smiling a bit.

Hmm, moving on to thursday...

-NCDCC Day
-Be nice to Fonny day (any day with 4 or 9 in it, ie 4th April, 29th December)
-Be mean to Nat day (ditto)
-BC's Birthday
-My favourite school day in the schedule (week A thursday)
-Last day before holiday

Rather eventful day, I say. Chem Prac + Physics + Physics Prac + lab (free period for now)(andrew wong overseas) + A Maths + PC Talk (wait, what talk?)

Then chinese remedial. Hmm, somehow though everything was going well for once I still feel sian. bleh.

Then went out for dinner, my bro's going in NS on monday. We went to Shokudo! (streets of japan). Its at heeren. A shopping mall. In orchard road. Next to prince hotel. Yup. And yet I feel older than I've ever been.

Heh, an introduction to They Might Be Giants. Maybe one day more people in SIngapore will listen to them.

They Might Be Giants+The Killers+Switchfoot = :D

One of the more well known TMBG songs, a cover made for Pushing Daisies. Though its been cancelled, you can still watch the episodes on streaming. So good :)

Oh and you should be able to recognize the distinctive voice of Kristin Chenoweth.

(hmm the original version by TMBG sounds better, ah well.)

Anyway, tomorrow I'll go to church (and you should too), then go to my aunty's house, saturday is BB + Choir, Sunday is easter and we wind up the clock and go back to more work D: (at least i get to pon next thursday of school)*tries not to think of teh difficulty of catching up with work for missing school* bleh.

Tries hard to be happy
Though I feel so crappy
Everything now is great
And great rhymes with bait.

I've been thinking...

CFS: Tell the World - Hillsong Something?

Cos I don't know anyone else who takes 74 all the way to macritchie D:

So on Tuesday I slept and woke up just before... had to rush down super fast tho. On Wednesday again I slept, but overshot and ended up at the unopened marymount station. And, today I've been thinking.

Heh, sec 1 was an interesting year, with many interesting stuff and a lot of getting used to. (Some) people got CCAs for their first time, UYOs, and we got tablets! (Yay out of 3 years where tablets were compulsory we got probably the best tablet of all)Hmm choir SYF-Monday to Thursday of craziness

Sec 2 was... slack and relaxed. We got the corner classroom, relatively nice teachers (Teacher Terence) and everything was just fine. Till sec 3 of course, though hard to adjust too, its so far been the most fun (and tiring) year. People I hadn't spoke to for a while since primary school came to my class, while those I knew well in sec 1 and 2 were there too. Adding Eric for comic relief, its just about right. (Leaving Hanh out of the equation)

But there's still some people who became so distant in primary school. Yesterday during mind games we used 2 rooms, and one guy came to use the empty storage room to do his work. He later recognized me as his older brother's good friend. Hmm, yet I haven't talked to him at all since primary school... He's always so busy.

Ah well, GEP Camp has been quite okay, though its quite badly done. All we do is listen to the same few things in the morning and do electives int eh afternoon. The only thing I have learnt is that when doing presentations using videos, one schould stay away from linking park songs and put in better songs from Hannah Montana, High School Musical or Maroon 5. Thank you Mr. Dave Tay The Man.

Oh, and cycling at Pulau Ubin was super tiring but super fun :D Though we reached school at like 4.40. Lol group of sec 3s all the way maybe 0.4 times the pace of teh fast sec 2s cos we waited for Avery. Very long story actually...

Oh and the bikes all had the name of "Raleigh". Ownage, shall post pictures soon...

Blah
Ya-aaAH
LAH.
