Exams!

Well, exams are "just around the corner", "driving us up the wall", "stressing us out"(less than a week, 3 school days more) and yet I haven't actually started proper revision yet. Sure, a schedule planned out, scraps of information revised a bit here and there, but never a more than hour actually study a lot and memorize things kind of session. Sure, I actually listen to all classes now, but still I see all the usually slack people studying. Now it seems its left to QYJ and me to finally start studying. :(

For one, my time management at home is quite unique. It is based around the amount of homework I have in a day. So, if I need more work, I'll play less. When i try introducing a new thing called "study time", I start getting confused and I just end up slacking while revising at the same time, resulting in not very productive revising. And yet I don't really seem to feel any stress to mug, because my philosophy is that mugging is for the day before, the days long before and for skimming through, organizing chapters, knowing what to do or exams, do homework and listen in class.

On unrelated new, our school day today was yet again slack, which isn't actually good because not much learning is done. Teacher Terence yet again took over another class that would be about the same as a free period, this time computer sciences. Not many complained, because you could both sleep and use your tablet without supervision in the former's class.

As with exams, there is subject choosing. Unlike almost all in my class, I am taking combination "D".
  • Language Arts (English+Lit)
  • Chinese (Mother Tongue)
  • IHS (Introduction to Human Societies)
  • Enriched Mathematics
  • Advanced Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Geography
With this, I can about say goodbye to almost everybody in my class.

On totally unrelated news, I realised that this weekend is the F1 race! I'm not a fan of F1 races, but now that its in Singapore, me being the patriot I am, i can't help but be excited.

On even more totally unrelated news, I just watched China's second space mission launch into space, for a walk on the moon. Well, Americans have astronauts, Russia has cosmonauts, and apparently China's are called taikongnauts, tai kong being chinese for space or sky? (My chinese is not near powderful). Sounds weird. And if I'm not wrong those are the only countries who bother sinking their money into a business where spacesuits alone are like 23 million each.

Lastly, as I write this post, I am contemplating whether or not to study for a while or to go to sleep immediately. Having just finished my history work (do or get out), I'm not exactly tired but not in the mood for studying (most of the time I am not anyway).

Having decided to sleep early today, I have nothing more to say.

Signing off,
Thats all.
