The Best Day Ever?

Today was the best day of the month. Sure, exams schmexams, but still wonderful things happened. It all started when I woke up, and I didn't feel like dying. That was wonderful. For once I didn't feel like collapsing back on my bed the moment I woke up. However, for precautions sake, I still proceeded the buy a coffee from the canteen, which proved extremely useful as it woke me up further, keeping me awake throughout the LA Paper 1, without which I might have slept or felt too sleepy to continue.

The LA paper went perfectly, with me finishing with 15 minutes left to go. I decided to count the number of words (943, btw) and when I was done counting there was exactly 1 minute left to go. :D (I'm a slow counter, I know).

Off for a break, I spent half the time sitting underneath the bench BC, YJ, Natty, Fonny and Mr. White Indian were sitting on, eveen though there was a space for me. Because there were less distractions (almost all noise was buffered out by the legs of the above mentioned (kinda like what we learnt in geog, trees were used as buffers of sound though)) I managed to study extremely effectively, memorizing more than I did the day before.

Grabbing yet another coffee, (this time nescafe, stock just arrived; in the morning the lady said they didn't order it because it wasn't confirmed to be free of melamine) I met Ms. Jacqueline Yeow at the drink store. I guess it was a good omen, having the wish of luck from the teacher teaching you the subject for the paper you will be taking in 10 minutes time.

The invigilator for both papers were PE teachers. First, Mr. Lee? (can't remember, PCT of 1.12 last year) then Mr. Rasdeen. Mr Lee? (ditto) was replaced by Chee Hwai Mei and Mr. Rasdeen was replaced by Susseela (bang bang yudiyuno (sorry, sounds nice)) (or however you spell it). For those who do not know what Chee Hwai Mei is like, here is a glossary for terms she may use.
  • S-L-O-W (slow, duh)
  • S-T-U-P-I-D (stupid, duh)
  • KPO (KPO=K Po=kaypoh)
  • KS (KS=Kia Su OR Kia Si) (both applicable, she used it to tell us to write index numbers on every page)
She also uses MANY short forms for writing, for words like :
  • between '|'
  • therefore (the three dots thing)
  • and many others, too numerous to recall.
The geog paper started quite badly, because I did not memorize about half of the question's answers. But it still went surprisingly well as some answers came to me only fifteen minutes after I skipped it. For those I had no idea of, I guessed. And when I guessed, it meant 4/5 answers ended up correct, with teh last hopefully earning me at least 1/2 mark (I hope).

So there, the best day this month. (Sure, sure, its only been two days; doesn't change the fact that it was wonderful though.) Hope tomorrow is just as good, if not better! (Hope will keep us alive)

Signing out,
Thats all.
