What holiday?

Today is a public holiday. What holiday? You may ask. You ask those around you, they can't be bothered to take their eyes of their Geography textbook. Its that time of the year again. You look forward to holidays, yet holidays the day before exams are really an oxymoron. An oxymoron that deserve to be stoned to death. Something that makes you so frustrated that you just want to call it a gigantic chicken backside.

No doubt, even I have been studying rather intensely today, leaving only time left to eat and write this blog post. Yes, starting to study one week before the exams itself seemed a much better idea then. Not any more, it seems, with me to read through the whole geography textbook today, and memorize it at the same time. An hour seems so short to the years or months ahead, yet one extra hour of studying means a lot for studying for an exam paper. Nerds no longer seem like nerds, they just laugh at you because they didn't have to stay up till late just to be prepared for exams.

Theres nothing much to post today, except that the rest of Singapore who faces no sort of thing such as exams are filled with festive cheer with Hari Raya Puasa goodness. Lucky people. Of course the CPE (Chief Presiding Examiner) and PEs (one of whom thinks the CPE and other PE are very cocky people) thought nothing much of this holiday, except that it would give us more time to study. While everyone else in the family is celebrating, of course, with guitar hero being blasted from outside, with the amazing race being watched in the room, with my only study partner who isn't on MSN being music. Coffee or tea is no longer a drink, they are necessities if anyone were to mug without sleeping, or at least to keep ones eyes open. (Sure, sure, red bull helps too)

Now, I had better get back to studying, for impending doom tomorrow. With an appropriate impending doom timer for the atmosphere.

Signing out,
Thats all.
