Well, to me exams are unofficially over, with me left to describe everything which happened since friday.
Friday was the second day of exams, with the life science paper before the math paper. The life science paper carried on the happy spirit since thursday on the easy (-ness? -city? -esque?) of them. Then came the recess, which had little work done because there wasn't much to revise on. (Nothing much was taught anyway, right?) Then came paper 1, which i scraped through quite confidently as I could eventually answer all the questions. After that, the infamous notorious horrible dorrible terrible incorrigible paper 2, where even QYJ, Adhika etc. left out some, no matter how little. I left out one of the worst in class, with 13/50 marks for paper 2 left empty. Then again, there were worse than me and many left out 9-10 marks kinda thing. Looks like no one will be getting near to what they got last year if teh saving grace of moderation does not appear anytime soon. After going home I slacked the whole day away before going for cell. It seemed to be opposite day in cell, with Sec 1 guys actually outnumbering the Sec 2s (2 of us), and the MGS girls and such outnumbering the normally dominant RGS. It was fun though, with Ian Tatt taking over again, though if you're reading this blog you probably don't know who he is.
Then came saturday, speeding by faster than you can say "John Johnson". Nothing much happened, except for the hellish conditions during the history mock test, where there was no air con for the first part with a full lecture theatre, and Gavin ang didn't bother opening the doors so it was quite a while before it went back to normal. (ACS I may have air-con eevryone, which is good but bad because all the facilities were not created for ventilation. When the air con does not work or simply won't be switched on, conditions are rather intolerable.(They even screwed in all the windows so they can't be open. (Except for Andrew, who brings screwdrivers to school everyday. (Finally something good about him, eh?))))
Then came Sunday. I went out for lunch, and slacked asll the way till after dinner, when I realised it was too late to expect to study well enough for history. Therefore I launched something to salvage the time I had left, something of a bailout plan, which instead of being rejected was quickly agreed to by myself. My plan was to study as much as possible on both immigration and economic history, so that I can study only half of the items. On top of this, I would only study what I deemed important and if I couldn't finish I would continue during the 2h recess on today. I couldn't. On top of this, I soon was informed by bc that the recess was not 2h, but only 1h long as usual. This looked extremely bleak, buut i managed to coax myself into sleeping soundly. (Though already later than other normal exam days.)
As usual though, everything went well for the history paper, except for the hypothesis question, making we quite sure I will get at least 70, to get a whole year score of at least 70 for history. :) Chinese writing didn't go too badly either, though thats what I though last year and I got like 35% for it. The evil rating of the teacher marking your compo is very important I guess.
Right now, I'm waiting for dinner to start revising, as in my opinion there is not much to memorize for tomorrow's papers. Running very dry of ideas to rite about today, I have nothing to do but
Signing out,
Thats all.
